Visit Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, dedicated to Confucian scholars. 

Next, head to Tran Quoc Pagoda – one of Vietnam’s oldest and most significant Buddhist temples. Then admire the Gothic-style St. Joseph’s Cathedral, a French colonial-era landmark. Continue to the Hoan Kiem Lake – “Lake of the Returned Sword,” which is a must-visit destination in the heart of Hanoi. Spend your evening wandering the Old Quarter, where you can shop for handicrafts and enjoy street food.

After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay for overnight cruising.

Arrive at the waiting lounge – Bai Chay – Ha Long and enjoy a welcome drink and express check-in before boarding.

Check in aboard with a welcome drink from crew member while the manager introduces the safety briefing and the boat cruises forward to the Halong bay.
